A/N: Written for a prompt at
comment_fic.
Rachel Berry's alarm went off exactly at six a.m., as usual, and as the peppy synthesizer started to play, her eyes shot open and she rolled over and suddenly gasped.
Noah Puckerman was beside her, rubbing his eyes groggily. "Why's the alarm on? It's Saturday."
"Oh my God," Rachel uttered, disbelieving. For a moment she thought she must still be dreaming, but to turn the alarm off she had to reach over him. Awkwardly she pulled herself onto her elbows and leaned across his chest, hastily mashing the buttons on her alarm. She couldn't deny that he was one-hundred-percent not-a-dream as her arm brushed against his pecs. "What are you doing here, Noah?"
"You don't remember?" he asked, yawning. "I gave you a ride home last night."
"But how... why...?"
"Glee rehearsal went really late. You invited me in and I brought some Natty Light, and then you told me I was too drunk to drive home."
Rachel drew in a breath, trying desperately not to hyperventilate. It wouldn't be good for her voice. "What about my dads?"
"They turned in pretty early last night, before I brought in the beer. I don't know if they know I'm still here."
"Think they'll be mad?"
"Why would they be? My pants are still on." Puck drew back the covers and revealed that he was, in fact, still wearing his jeans from the night before. "I just took off my shirt and my belt," he added, pointing to where he'd left them carelessly on the floor.
"So then we didn't... we didn't do anything, did we?" she asked.
Puck smiled. "No," he said, reaching across and moving a wisp of hair that had fallen across her face. "You fell asleep as soon as you hit the mattress. You're a real lightweight."
"Oh, okay, good," Rachel said, the words coming out too quickly. "I mean, not that there's anything wrong with that, I just don't want to, you know, forget, or, for example..."
Puck brought his finger to her lips, pressing gently against them to get her to stop. "You talk way too much, Berry," he told her, still sleepy. "Too early for talking."
Rachel was touched. He'd slept beside her all night without even trying to make a move, and she was impressed. She'd forgotten how sweet Puck could be when he tried. And, on top of that, he was even cuter than usual in the morning, with his mohawk mussed and his wide brown eyes blinking in the gray morning sunlight. She turned and looked at her bedside clock; on the weekends they liked to sleep late, so she figured she and Puck had an hour or two before he had to get up and get out before her parents noticed.
"In that case, how about a little less talk..." she began, putting his fingertip between her lips, "and a lot more action?"
"Now that's what I'm talking about," Puck laughed. Rachel wrapped her hands behind her head and pulled herself closer for a kiss. "Rachel Berry, you are the breakfast of champions."

You are on a roll. I really liked how Puck didn't try anything w/Rachel. He's more of a gentleman than we give him credit for sometimes.
Aww <3

I love that you wrote bite-sized Glee!fic with punch. Like, way to cram all sorts of fabulousity in one itty-bitty burst. It was cute, in-character, and a little hot at the end there as a bonus. If there is more to life than that, I do not want to know what it is.

This was adorable and left a big smile on my face. Spot-on voices for Puck and Rachel, and I love the promise of hotness about to ensue at the end. :)
