Good idea? Bad idea?

Okay, so, here's a fact. Sometimes I have ideas and I have no idea whether they are good ideas or bad ideas. Like fight-racing. Or hot dog soup. Or, instead of whoring myself for comments, posting a poll at the end of a fic.

I was thinking about it because of some fandom secret that turned up the other day. I really like getting comments, but as a reader I can understand the difficulty in leaving them sometimes. So I was thinking that for some reason people tend to vote in polls even when they don't comment, so why not use them as a review system for fic?

I whipped up this sample based on the most common comments I've received on my latest fic. That way people can check all the responses that apply and still leave a more in-depth review if they feel like it.

[Poll #1485612]

So, what do you think? Is this idea awesome or is it the lamest lame that ever lamed?

I love that "douchy" is even a word. I'm also pretty douchy when it comes to polls, so yeah. I'd do the same thing.

But that still might be one more chance to get feedback than just relying on comments...
