aurilly recced a fic of mine on crack_van! That makes me go heeeeeeeeee.

And, as I think perdi so eloquently put it, some of my fics have been nominated to fuck all and back at the Heroes Slash awards.

Downpour has been nommed for Best Overall, Best Angst, Best AU, Best Dark, Best One-Shot, Best Mohinder Characterization, and Best Mohinder/Sylar Fic (R-NC-17). That fic is a whore.

Three Wodehouse AUs has been nominated for Best Crack.

I have two nominees for Best Drabble - A Little Dirty Laundry and Be Grateful, You Bitch (yay femslash!), which was also nominated for Best Elle Characterization.

I am a little confused, though, because Black White Gray has been nominated, but it's not really a slash fic. Is that something I should let the mod know? I know psycho_llama and I pored through the entries for the het awards to make sure they were het, and I don't know if the mod here does that or if they trust the nominators to know what's what.

Black White Gray - depends on the cat. If it's in Best Gen, then it's fine. If it's in another, I'd let the mod know. There's quite a bit of ineligible fic nominated (or there was before people started pointing them out) and the mod always appreciates a heads up. :)

Yeah, I'd tell her. There was one that was just Sylar with Elle coming in at the end, no hint that it was a slash fic at all, and when I asked her about it, she took it down. So I figure it's meant to be slash fics rather than straight up gen.

I don't know if crack_van actually gets people any new readers (I've checked, and so far there's only been one comment left on anything I've recced solely because of me), but if it gets even one person more to read it, then I'm happy. I love that story so much and everyone to get to read it! <3
