I always felt that Gabriel was a stay-at-home dad, since he was the one at home when Peter stopped by during the day and there was no mom to be seen.

I don't think I was the first one to come up with the gun analogy; I'm pretty sure [livejournal.com profile] wily_one24 beat me to it with this fic.
