My personal top ten favorites of the fics I've written, with explanation. This one was much easier, because I've only written, what, seventeen fics total? Not a whole lot of material to sort through. Drumroll, please.

1. Beyond Repair
   I'm not as proud of the fic as I am of the fanwanking behind it. I think even the Heroes writers would have to admit that there's room for this fanwank in canon... right? Some commenters have asked me to continue, and I've been thinking about it, but I'm not sure.
   
   
2. Partners
   I blame aurilly for my little addiction to Mohelle fluff. Hey, at least in this ship, everyone's still alive! also mohinder's hot Wait, what? Who said that?
   
   
3. Coriander Eyes
   In addition to my Mohelle fluff addiction, I'm a little bit addicted to Daphtt fluff. Daphtt! It's Daphne/Matt smushed together! No? Okay.
   
   
4. Got Any Change?
   One of the things about fanfiction that fascinates me is the whole idea of backstory. I was really intrigued by the character of Danny Pine, because homelessness is something that I relate very personally with and work with a lot, and I wondered what had led him to those circumstances.
   
   
5. Screwed
   I love to see Mohinder, Elle, and Sylar/Gabriel all together in a fic. This is as close as I've come. I've been toying with the idea of continuing this one, too.
   
   
6. The Best Part About Dating a Speedster
   Because this is really what I'd imagine Matt and Daphne's sex life to be like once they get married and he goes back to work live happily ever after. Dude, if I were dating a speedster, I'd be all about it.
   
   
7. Electified, Times Seven
   I think I really pushed myself out of my comfort zone with this one in more ways than one. For one thing, it's intensely porny, which I don't attempt often because I don't know how well I do it compared to, like, dragynflies; I tried so many new pairings and femslash, which I'd never ever tried before. I think it provides a lot of backstory for why Elle Bishop is such a fucked-up character in so many ways, and overall I think I constructed it really well.
   
   
8. Sentinel
   Sometimes you know the worst of what's to come, and even though you do your best to avoid it, you just can't escape it. That's pretty much the sentiment that informed this fic. Out of everything I wrote, I think this one still resounds the most emotionally with me.
   
   
9. Discharges and Distractions
   I had a lot of fun writing this one. The thought of Elle and Mohinder trying to get it on when they're both injured just cracked me up too much not to write it down. This is one of those times where the words on the page just exactly fit the image in your head, I think.
   
   
10. The last thing he wanted to do was hurt her...
    Yes, the title still sucks. Yes, this was one of the first fics I ever wrote. Yes, I still love it. I'm proud of it and happy with it and the responses I got on it from the anonymous kink meme were what made me think I could join this fic party. Elle/Haitian rocks my socks.
    
    For anyone really interested, I've been doing a pretty good job keeping my fic indexed here. It's not very well-organized, I'll admit, but there's not really a lot there so I'm not sure how it would best be organized anyway.

Daphtt is just as awkward if not worse than Maphne...

Does this mean they're really not compatible? I mean, all the other super couples go together. Hell, Gabriel has part of Elle's name in his name.

Now I'm going to start smushing the names of all my TV couples.

Cause Buffy and Spike create a BIKE, but Buffy and Angel just make Bangles.

Veronica and Logan can spell LoVe with their name, but DuVe doesn't make any sense.
