Can you forgive me for taking a million years to get to this? I haven't had much time to read fic lately, and I was saving this one for when I did because I knew it would be awesome, and wow, it did not disappoint!
This is so different from any Sylar-and-Elle-have-a-baby fic I've ever read, and I love how you built off the Bonnie-and-Clyde-taking-what they-want theme and twisted it, with Elle at first being the reluctant abductee to slowly coming around to finding her own with him. There's such a creepiness to their relationship here -- Elle so unwilling, then slipping into something rather like Stockholm Syndrome, and then forming her very unhealthy attachment to him based on lust and the thrill of murder...to finally them both stopping cold turkey because the baby brings so much more to them -- Sylar was right about wanting a family; did he know it would change him, or did that take him by surprise? I also love how you slipped in the undertone of the idea of Elle undergoing a religious experience -- which culminates in her firstborn son being her (and Gabriel's, and everyone else's) salvation. Very clever -- and poignant.
Loved what you did with the other characters, too -- LOLed at your Bennet and his, "When does he ever use his ability to draw perfect circles." (What a useless power, lol, and something I could actually imagine on the show.) You write him so well, as you do Angela. And it was so nice how the fic was bookended with her two dreams.
Very excellent. I loved and am saving to my favorites!
