I came here through a rec from perdiccas and this....was so worth it. (I admit I'm not familiar with the tale.) But at the same time--this story held up without my knowledge, and that's a great skill in itself. I love Rachel in this fic, and I love Quinn in this fic. I loved it when she was mourning what was about to be lost, and I loved that she risked so much to help Quinn and others like her.

...So yeah. I'm putting this to memories. It was gorgeously written.
