I've had this sitting in my To Read folder for weeks now and I've only just gotten to; I kind of wish I'd made time earlier because I loved it. I love Margaret Atwood (she replied to my fan mail once! XD) and The Handmaid's Tale is one of my favourites of hers but I think because of how much I love it, I actually went into this with very high expectations of you... to my immense pleasure, you totally lived up to them. I think you captured the bleakness and the dystopian tone perfectly and you fitted both Quinn and Rachel into that world so well. Most of all, I loved how you tied back the colour red to Quinn's cheerleading uniform. Really, really well done. ♥
